Let me start by say that this specific location by far has to be the most clean location, well assorted store in the queens area. Not only is the staff attentive, detailed and well trained but he quality of the food is excellent. I had the oxtail with rice and peas. Yhe small order came with plantains and steamed cabbage. For $12 its a very good deal as there was plenty of ox tail with extra gravy and the ox tail it self was falling off the bones. Will definately be giving them my business the next time i need hot lunch. This place is a hidden gem in hempstead ave.

One of the cleanest Golden Krust locations with very good food and pleasant staff. The parking is the only thing that isn't ideal.

Awesome food. Always clean. Unfortunately the staff is horrible. That is unless you're friends with them, West Indian, or a man. No matter how much business I give this place the customer service is still horrible. Sorry I take that back. Other than the owner, there might be two nice employees there.

One of the Best patties in the city . Always flakey like most of my friends. Golden like my Cuban links . Busy it down with a champagne kola.

Been eating here for years as well. Really good staff. Friends with the manager. The food is not the best jamaican food in the area. It's okay.. Nothing spectacular. Prices are very high. It wouldn't be my first choice for jamaican food in 2015. Great customer service compared to other jamaican restaurants.

Review is solely based on the beef (and chicken) patties. Literally only thing I eat there. Had I been yelping meticulously, I would have over 50 check ins over the past year. It's safe to say I'm addicted. I go through hiatuses, but when I go back I never regret it. I tend to go late at night before they close and they'll hook me up with the 2 for the price of 1 deal. I always tell myself I'll have one then save the other for later, but it never happens. Once I decided to switch it up and get a plate of food. Jerk chicken, rice, and salad...never again. Rice was dry and rubbery, chicken was unremarkable. Sticking to my beef (and sometimes chicken) patties.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
